Terms of sale

These Terms of Sale apply to the SAFE-CARE website. SAFE-CARE is a project of HOPn (Weichterstr. 1, 86807 Buchloe, Germany). Provider details: Imprint.

1. Scope

By using the site and by placing a pre-order or quote request you accept these terms. Separate written agreements take precedence.

2. Offers and prices

Package prices are shown in euro, net and gross (including VAT). A pre-order is a reservation with a deposit, not a guaranteed delivery date. Custom configurations are quote requests without payment; a binding offer follows by email.

3. Pre-orders and deposit

For standard packages you pay the displayed deposit (by default 20% of the package price unless shown otherwise). The balance is due before delivery or activation. If Stripe Checkout is not available, we record your pre-order and HOPn will follow up about the deposit.

If HOPn cannot fulfil a pre-order, we refund the deposit paid. There is no entitlement to a specific delivery date unless a delivery window is confirmed in writing.

4. Scope of performance and notices

SAFE-CARE describes an architecture for robotic assistance in eldercare. Demos and evaluation figures on this site are illustrative or module/simulation-level. No clinical certification, medical advice, or living-lab validation is claimed. Humanoid hardware is subject to availability, lead times, and applicable safety requirements.

5. Payment

Payments are in EUR via the integrated payment provider (Stripe) when configured. Card data is not stored on our servers. Invoices and order confirmations are sent to the email address you provide.

6. Withdrawal

Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal. Details are in the Right of withdrawal.

7. Liability

HOPn’s liability is limited to the extent permitted by German law. Nothing excludes liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, or other liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Privacy

Processing of personal data is described in our Privacy policy.

9. Changes and governing law

The version published on this page applies. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer protections remain unaffected. Questions: info@hopn.eu.
